FARD BADAR explanation

What is FARD e Badar?

In English, a FARD e BADAR can be said “statement of correction of clerical mistakes” Sometime during copying the entries of the Register Haqdaran e Zamin into another or in incorporating a mutation in a register Haqdaran e Zamin, inadvertently some clerical mistake may occur. The mistake may include name, father name, caste, area of land etc.

Such type of mistake can be rectified by preparation of FARD BADAR. Be noted, a FARD BADAR is meant for correction of clerical mistake and not for change of ownership from one person to another.

If in case the ownership of a person is changed on the basis of FARD BADAR, and this FARD BADAR is not based on clerical mistake, such type of FARD BADAR can be set aside by the court, if challenged.  .
