Format of Application for return of original documents from Court
If you have submitted original documents in the court, same can be taken
back from court, for which, an application for return of original documents can
be filed to the court. Following is the sample of application for return of
documents.

BEHALF OF PLAINTIFF UNDER ORDER XIII RULE 9 READ WITH SECTION 151 OF CPC FOR
RETURNING OF ORIGINAL DOCUMENT
Respectfully Sheweth:-
1.
That the above titled suit was decreed in
favour of applicant/plaintiff by the predecessor of this Honourable court vide
judgment & decree dated
2.
That during the stage of evidence, the
plaintiff in his documentary evidence, tendered original allotment letter of
DHA Rawalpindi as Exhibit_______. Certified copy of said allotment letter is
attached.
3.
That defendant filed appeal against the
judgment dated
4.
That since the controversy between the
parties was settled and the appeal was disposed off accordingly, therefore the
matter is no more alive and pending before any forum.
5.
That the applicant/plaintiff requires the
above stated original allotment letter exhibited as Exhibit P-4, for
surrendering the same in DHA Rawalpindi office to obtain fresh allotment letter
with agreed alternate plot. Hence this application.
PRAYER
In view of above, it is respectfully prayed that
instant application may kindly be accepted, certified copy of Exhibit________
may be accepted to keep in record and original allotment letter may kindly be
returned to applicant/plaintiff in the interest of justice.
