Legal Documents Translation from urdu to english

Translation of legal documents from urdu to English is not an easy task for every one because to translate the legal documents accurately, the translator should be familiar with the legal terminologies and hold expertise in legal matters.

There are numerous legal documents which are not even easy to understand for all the peoples. These documents may include but not limited to:-

        i.            FARD (فرد)

      ii.            Inteqal (انتقال)

    iii.            Registry (رجسٹری)

iv.            Courts documents (including plaint, written statement and courts orders etc)

Why you need legal documents translation?

Sometime you may need translation of a legal document for your own but generally, you need to produce the translation of documents along with original one / copies in Embassies for Visa Purposes.

Which Legal Documents require translation from urdu to English and why?

Although there are number of legal documents which may require translation from urdu to English language but I am providing detail of few legal documents, the translation of which is required to be done from urdu to English. The documents are as under:-

i. FARD (فرد )

This document can be presented before Visa Officer as evidence of the ownership or other rights in any property. Presenting a FARD will be beneficial for Visa applicant because its shows that the applicant is financially strong person.

ii. INTEQAL (انتقال)

Just like FARD, Inteqal is also a document which shows the ownership of a person over a property. But, Inteqal not only shows the name of purchaser but seller as well.

Therefore, presenting this document before a Visa Officer will be beneficial for visa applicant either he is seller or purchaser.

The seller/ transferor can produce “Inteqal” when he has to prove that he was owner of a certain property but sold it for a specific price and the price reflecting in his bank statement is of this sold property.

The purchaser/ transferee can present “Inteqal” when he has to prove that he owns a certain property worth million of rupees.

iii.      REGISTRY (رجسٹری)

Just like FARD and Inteqal,  presenting Registry before a Visa Officer will be helpful for visa applicant because it also shows the names of purchaser and seller.

A large number of Registries are translated from urdu to English for producing the same to Visa Officer.

iv.      Court Order (عدالتی حکم )

If an applicant wants to take any minor with him to abroad who is not his/her reason son but an adopted child. In such case, to take the minor abroad, Guardianship Certificate is required to be obtained from the court.

If Guardianship Certificate or its application is in urdu, same should be  translated into English (for UK, USA, Canada etc) and be presented to Visa Officer.

Just like Guardianship case, there are many other court orders, petitions which requires translation from urdu to english in support of visa applications.

 v. Karaya Nama  (Rent Agreement)

To prove rental income from the rented property, a Visa applicant should submit Karaya Nama to Visa Officer along with its English translation if not in English.

vi.      Nikah Nama

Nikah Nama can be submitted to Visa Officer to prove the relationship between spouses. If Nikah Nama is in urdu, same should be translated in English for convenience of Visa Officer.

vii.     B-Form

B-Form is required to be submitted by the visa applicant to prove the number, name and ages of his/her children.

Viii.  Birth Certificate

Just like B-Form, a Birth Certificate along with its translation in English can be presented before a Visa Officer to show the relationship of a child with his father/mother along with name and date or birth of child.
